No Rush Proverbs 20:21 - " An inheritance gained hastily at the beginning will not be blessed at the end. " Let me start by making this clear: "Hastily" does not mean the same thing as "suddenly". There are a lot of good "suddenly"s in the Bible. There have been many times in Scripture - and echoed even in my own life - when God quickly and surprisingly worked on behalf of His people. He has often brought about a sudden blessing for those who served Him. And I'm convinced that you can believe God for your own sudden miracle of provision... IF you're prepared for it . But you should not be hasty to become rich. "Hasty" means "in a hurry" or "in a rush". This is a specific warning about wealth that is suddenly dumped on someone who is not ready for it .
