12 - Everything You Need To Know About Grace and How It Works
Grace is probably the most misunderstood and mis-applied teaching in the modern church.
Is grace the freedom to commit sin and not feel guilty about it?
Is it the forgiveness that washed your sins away when you got saved?
Maybe it's God's favor that showers you with blessings you don't deserve?
And what about works and obedience; does grace get rid of them?
The truth is, grace is so much more than these things!
To put it simply: Grace is God's empowering goodness that raises us up to be like Jesus.
It'll do everything to lift you to His level.
If there's guilt in the way, grace forgives.
If there's a sin in the way, grace sets free.
If there's a weakness in the way, grace empowers.
In the church of Jesus Christ, we need to learn how to receive grace, and put it to work for us. So walk with me, as we start with the basic understanding of grace - and then move into it's intended goal for our lives!
If you'll walk through this teaching (and take it to heart), it'll transform you from being the same-old weak, sinful, guilty you...into being a free, thriving, powerful, mirror-image of Jesus Christ!
