 1 Samuel 16:7 - " But the LORD said to Samuel, 'Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.'" Man Looks on the Outside Of course, the main point of the verse needs to be understood - God looks at a person's heart! You can fool everyone else around you by your actions...but God sees through it. He knows your motives; He knows WHY you're doing the things that you are. But let's not lose sight of that first point either: Man judges based on appearance.  This, my friends, is a truth that you will have to accept. Other than God, everyone else in your life will judge you based on what they see. Of course those closest to you, the ones who see and know the most about you, will have a more accurate judgment of your intentions. They'll tend to cut some slack, since they see more of who you really are. But th...

Deuteronomy 28:1 - " Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey  the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully  all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth." Instinctively Obedient Prosperous people are radically  devoted to God and to what He says in His word. Tithing? They have no problem with that! Living debt-free? They just say, "Yessir, whatever You say!" Generosity? "Just show me who to give to!" Church attendance? "Any time the doors are open!" These kinds of people don't try to find excuses for ignoring what God said. They know that the only way to success is wholehearted obedience.
